Dit is een heruitgave van de twee cassettes die Bob Timroff onder zijn aliassen Ego Produkties en Het Chateau d'If in 1981 en 1982 heeft uitgebracht.

De nummers zijn in de Haagse huiskamer van Bob opgenomen vanuit de behoefte om elke dag muziek te maken. Zijn plekje was een walhalla voor muzikanten, want zijn onderbuurman was een dove man van in de tachtig.

De muziek van Het Chateau d'If is van de originele band gedigitaliseerd; Ego Produkties van cassette. Bob heeft de nummers vervolgens zo goed mogelijk opgepoetst. De originele tapes zijn elk - hoewel nooit bedoeld om écht uit te brengen - zo'n 50 maal gekopieerd; deze heruitgave is ook gelimiteerd tot 50 genummerde cassettebandjes.
