Dit is een heruitgave van de demo, die Bob, Carol, Ted & Alice oorspronkelijk in juni 1990 hebben opgenomen.

Bob, Carol, Ted & Alice was de band van bassist Marcel Peetom (Buik), drummer Robert Lagendijk (Robbel) en gitarist Frank van Praag (Pank). Alle drie de bandleden hebben nummers ingezongen; Frank de meeste.

De muziek is door de band zelf opgenomen. Daarvoor werd een Fostex X15 viersporenrecorder gebruikt. Het huis van Frank’s ouders (in Oosthuizen) is gebruikt als studio toen zij op vakantie waren.

Omdat we niet de complete, originele mastertape hebben kunnen vinden, is de muziek van een democassette gedigitaliseerd. Wout de Kruif heeft de nummers vervolgens geremasterd. De originele demo is 100 maal gekopieerd; deze heruitgave is ook gelimiteerd tot 100 genummerde cassettebandjes.
